1. Complete and send your New Company Application to the Halaal Zone office by filling out the inquiry form online to get started with a consultation. The application asks for logistical information about your company and your plant, as well as a list of the products you want certified and their ingredients.
  2. HalaalZone.com will refer your company to one of our partnering certification authorities, compare and advise an effective solution based on your factory location and target audience. Our partners cover up 45 countries across the world.
  3. A Halaal Inspector (account executive) will be assigned to handle your application. This inspector will be your designated point person during the certification process, and will be available to answer your questions, address your needs, and guide you through the certification process.
  4. A qualified Halaal Inspector will visit your plant to observe your operation and the feasibility of certifying your products. (There is a processing fee and a travel expense fee that is billed prior to this inspection.) The Inspector will tour your plant and file a written report to their respective Certifying Authority.
  5. Your application and inspection report will be reviewed by your Certifying Authority, who will advise you whether or not they can grant certification. In some instances, some system modifications may be required for certification to be awarded.
  6. The inspector will draft a contract that will include all requirements for halaal certification. If you deem it acceptable, the contract is signed and returned to the Certifying Authorities office, and a letter of certification is sent to you.
Your new product labels carrying the Halaal symbol may then be submitted for the Certifying Authorities final approval.
  7. CONGRATULATIONS! You have now joined a family of companies that proudly carries the world’s best-known and most widely accepted Halaal trademark.
